The new city bridge in Drammen, Norway, was officially opened in October 2025. The bridge, featuring a 180-metre steel span structure, is designed for pedestrian, cycling, and public transport use, making a significant contribution to modern and sustainable urban mobility.
With its clean form and complex curved geometry, the bridge represents a new visual identity for the city of Drammen.
As recognition of its architectural and engineering excellence, the project was shortlisted for the prestigious International Bridge Project of the Year as part of the NCE Bridges Awards 2026.
We are proud that Zagreb Montaža participated in this demanding project as the contractor for erection and welding works for the client PNC Norge AS (Porr), once again confirming our expertise and reliability on challenging international infrastructure projects.
