1. Definitions

  • Personal data – any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
  • Processing – any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data.
  • Data subject – a natural person whose personal data is being processed.
  • Child – a person under the age of 16.

2. Principles of Data Protection

  • We promise to adhere to the following data protection principles:
  • Processing is lawful, fair, and transparent. Our processing activities have a lawful basis. We always take into account your rights before processing personal data. We will provide you with information regarding the processing upon request.
  • Processing is limited to its purpose. Our processing activities are in line with the purpose for which the personal data were collected.
  • Processing is completed with minimal data. We collect and process the minimum amount of your personal data necessary for any purpose.

  • Right to rectification – you have the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Right to erasure – you may request deletion of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to restriction of processing – you have the right to restrict processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
  • Right to object to processing – you have the right to object to processing of your personal data, for example in the case of direct marketing.
  • Right to object to automated processing – you have the right to object to automated processing, including profiling, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. You can exercise this right whenever there is a profiling outcome that has legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you.
  • Right to data portability – you have the right to obtain your personal data in a format that is machine-readable or, if feasible, direct transfer from one controller to another.
  • Right to lodge a complaint – if we reject your request, guaranteed by the right of access, we will provide you with the reason for this. If you are not satisfied with how your request is handled, please contact us.
  • Right to assistance from the supervisory authority – you have the right to assistance from the supervisory authority and the right to other legal remedies, such as a claim for damages.
  • Right to withdraw consent – you have the right to withdraw any consent for processing personal data.

“Are you obliged to provide us with personal data?

 

You are not obliged to. However, please note that in certain cases, if you refuse to provide the requested data, Zagreb Montaža d.o.o. will not be able to enter into a contractual relationship with you or fulfill its legal and contractual obligations.

 

Period for which data will be stored

 

The data controller will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill its contractual or legal obligations or legitimate interests, except in the case of personal data processing based on consent, when the processing ceases at the time of withdrawal of your consent.

Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

What are your rights related to the processing of personal data?

 

Depending on the legal basis of processing, your rights may be as follows:

  • request access to personal data relating to you, meaning you have the right to be informed about the scope of collected data, the purpose of processing, the category of personal data being processed, recipients to whom the data are communicated, and the storage period;
  • request correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data, and in that case, we are obliged to act in accordance with your request without undue delay;
  • object to processing of personal data in the case of processing based on Ina’s legitimate interests or in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes;
  • request deletion of data when the purpose of processing is fulfilled, when you withdraw consent as the sole basis for processing, when your interest in protecting privacy outweighs the legitimate interest of Zagreb Montaža d.o.o. for processing, when you object to processing, and in case of possible unlawful processing.
  • The right to erasure is not an absolute right and does not apply, for example, in cases where processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of information and expression, for compliance with legal obligations to which Zagreb Montaža d.o.o. is subject, for establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims, etc.;
  • limit data processing, for example, when you dispute the accuracy of the data, until we verify their accuracy;
  • transfer data to another controller if processing is based on consent or performance of a contract in which you are a party, or if processing is carried out automatically and if technically feasible;
  • file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, i.e., the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP);

Requesting access to personal data relating to you or requesting correction of your personal data

 

If you want to access your personal data or believe that there has been an irregularity in the processing of personal data, please contact the Data Protection Officer.

 

Objecting to the processing of personal data

 

If you believe that Zagreb Montaža d.o.o. does not have a legal basis to process your personal data, you can object to the Data Protection Officer at any time.

In that case, we will no longer process your personal data, nor will we be able to provide you with our services or be in a business relationship with you.
